JOE ELLIOTT confirmed for movie debut
11 February 2014DEF LEPPARD main man JOE ELLIOTT is to appear alongside a host of fellow rockers on the big screen in upcoming feature film The Bridge.
Joining ELLIOTT in the coming-of-age rock n roll movie are Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders), Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister) and Sin Quirin (Ministry).
The movie charts the unlikely rise of small-town music prodigy Luke Weaver whose band falls apart and is described by its makers as “an arduous journey of the human spirit”.
JOE ELLIOTT previously made his acting debut in an episode of US mystery/thriller series Dark Realm in 2001.
Ricky Warwick made his acting debut in 2008 movie Evilution, a movie that also starred his one-time Circus Diablo band mate Billy Morrison.
The Bridge is the brainchild of writer/actor Bobby Field, formerly of Floridian speed metal band Dark Descent, and the star of (2005) independent comedy Guy in Row Five.
