It turns out that Dave Grohl might not be featured on KORN’s new album The Serenity of Suffering (the rumor mill is still out on that one), but SLIPKNOT’s Corey Taylor is very much involved.

KORN shared yet another track off their upcoming project yesterday (September 29), and 'A Different World' features Taylor for a fast and furious explosion that harkens back to the band’s early aught singles.

KORN and SLIPKNOT are no strangers, as the two have toured together over the years. When the band first released news about The Serenity of Suffering earlier in June, guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer spoke with Metal Hammer about Taylor’s contribution.

We have Corey singing on one track and it’s going to be a fan favorite because he really lets loose,” he said (via TeamRock). “On a heaviness scale of one to 10 with 10 being the 1994 self-titled, this album is a definite nine.” Considering how heavy they take things on “A Different World,” especially when it comes to the chorus, he’s not kidding around."

The Serenity of Suffering drops October 21st.
