The show was highly anticipated by many as not only was Ozzy returning to his solo status after spending the last few years helping to wind down BLACK SABBATH’s career, but he also was hitting the stage with longtime friend and collaborator Zakk Wylde, who is taking over on guitar for Osbourne’s summer touring.

 

During the show, Osbourne played 12 songs featuring a mix of his solo and SABBATH catalog, opening the show with 'Bark at the Moon' and wrapping things up with 'Paranoid,' sprinkling such favorites as 'Mr. Crowley,' 'No More Tears,' 'War Pigs,' 'Iron Man,' 'Crazy Train' and 'Mama, I’m Coming Home' in the meat of the performance. Osbourne continues his run at Chicago Open Air this weekend, then resumes touring in August and September primarily playing festival shows.
