Hear QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE’s New Song ‘The Evil Has Landed’
11 August 2017QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE has dropped the second single from their upcoming album Villains, which is due out two weeks from tomorrow (Aug. 25).
Titled 'The Evil Has Landed,' the track is a six-minute stomper which band frontman Josh Homme says was informed by his Palm Desert upbringing and that the song, “goes by quick and never really repeats itself and when it does, it’s spinning around.”
Earlier this year, Homme stressed that the title of the new record isn’t meant to be a commentary on the current state of politics or the presidential administration in the United States.
Villains, which will be the seventh album by QOTSA, was produced by Mark Ronson who said, “Queens are and have always been my favorite rock n roll band ever since I walked into Tower on Sunset and bought Rated R in the summer of 2000.”
