This is the TASH SULTANA week on radio TANGRA MEGA ROCK.

She has just released her second studio album Terra Firma through her own record label Lonely Lands Records.

Sultana
said about the album "I didn't realise that I needed to create a space and home for myself to feel like a person again. I just went inward and found a really peaceful place and wrote an album, and I feel really happy with it.

Australian of Maltese ancestry, Sultana was born and grew up in Melbourne, and received a guitar from her grandfather at the age of three.

Sultana can play 20 instruments including guitar, bass, trumpet, flute, percussion and saxophone. A self-described drug addict, Sultana developed drug-induced psychosis at the age of 17 and had to undergo several months of therapy to recover.
