JOY DIVISION Get Honoured
24 August 2007Joy Division's classic final single "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is to be-released September 24. This way the song will get a third chance to become a chartbreaker, after getting into the Top 20 twice - in June 1980 and in June 1995.
Two weeks later, on October 5, the movie biopic about the life of the band's late singer Ian Curtis, entitled "Control", which we informed you about some months ago HERE, will premiere.
To warm up the event, Joy Division's back catalogue shall be reissued on September 10. Both the band's studio albums, "Unknown Pleasures" (1979) and "Closer" (1980), as well as the live/rarities LP "Still" (1981) will appear with additional CDs of concert recordings.
