LAMB OF GOD’s singer Arrested on Manslaughter Charges
29 June 2012Earlier today, Czech news site Novinky.cz reported that LAMB OF GOD vocalist Randy Blythe had been arrested on manslaughter charges in Prague.
According to MetalSucks, the arrest stems from an event back in 2010 where Blythe and a fan allegedly got into a physical altercation during the band’s performance. After the show, the fan died from injuries resulting from the fight leading to the charges and today’s arrest.
Just a few hours ago a spokesperson for the band said that Blythe has been “wrongly accused,” and that the band’s lawyers are on top of it and they “expect him to be fully exonerated.”
The band was supposed to perform in Prague last night along with All Shall Perish and Skeletonwitch.
We’ll update this story as more information comes in.
