Not long after Trent Reznor basically told the Grammys to “fuck off”, a hilarious Nine Inch Nails parody song hit the web.

“This Is a Trent Reznor Song”, recorded by one creative citizen named Frederick “Freddy” Scott, spoofed the frontman’s trademark moves and aesthetic on the Hesitation Marks standout “Copy of A”. Included in the lampooning? There is, of course, the “random percussion”, “weird guitar”, and “creepy piano” arrangements that seem to turn the industrial track into “a haunted house” theme song.

Now, as if “This Is a Trent Reznor Song” didn’t already earn an A+ in parody class, Scott has issued its accompanying music video.

It’s every bit as amazingly and amusingly on-point, from the grainy visuals to Reznor’s intense, “holding on for dear life” mic-clutch pose.

Watch the funny bit below.
