As promised, the FOO FIGHTERS dropped the first single off their upcoming record Sonic Highways, which is slated for a November 10th release. The killer track, recorded with In Utero‘s producer Steve Albini is called Something from Nothing and features Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielson on guitar.

The Sonic Highways HBO series premieres Friday at 11pm, which we can assume will showcase the writing and recording of Something From Nothing in Chicago.
