The TOOL Facebook page has posted the following message updating fans about the status of their fifth full-length album:

“Starting the New Year off on a positive note, Adam (Jones, guitarist) arrives at the LOFT with an ending for a new TOOL arrangement and gets the nod of approval by the others. As long as they don’t start with the ending, that’s good news!”

The fifth full-length album from TOOL has been pushed back from originally supposed to being released in 2013 and 2014.

TOOL’s last album, 10,000 Days, was released in 2006.
