We’ve been reading all about the upcoming ‘Immortal’ Randy Rhoads tribute album, which is packed full of rock and metal’s most accomplished musicians. Now, a cover of ‘Crazy Train’ by Serj Tankian, Tom Morello, Rudy Sarzo and Vinny Appice has been revealed by Rolling Stone.

With musicians from Black Sabbath, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine and Dio on board, you know the ‘Crazy Train’ cover will find its own identity.

Serj Tankian attacks Ozzy Osbourne‘s vocal part with his high-pitched bellowing, while Tom Morello keep’s the song’s various leads more controlled compared to Rhoads’ wild and freeform style.

‘Immortal Randy Rhoads: The Ultimate Tribute’ will be released March 3 via UDR Music.
