METALLICA are offering a free preview of 'Moth Into Flame' from the group’s upcoming Hardwired … to Self-Destruct.

The song is a tribute to late MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister and uses many of his songtitles in the lyrics.

This is the second advance track from their long-awaited new studio effort, due in stores on Nov. 18. We first heard a snippet of this song back in August, as part of an advance trailer for Hardwired, the follow up to 2008’s Death Magnetic – unless you count METALLICA’s much-maligned 2011 collaboration with Lou Reed, Lulu.

Hardwired’s 12 new songs are spread out over two CDs.

METALLICA have continued to tinker with the project into this month, making significant changes to the running order of the bonus disc – including the addition of deluxe-edition covers of songs made famous by Iron Maiden, Ronnie James Dio and Deep Purple. The extra disc was already slated to include an update of 'Lords of Summer,' a stand-alone track they originally debuted in 2014.

METALLICA have plans to tour extensively in support of Hardwired … To Self-Destruct
