Roger Waters is giving fans an initial taste of his first album of new material in 25 years.

The former PINK FLOYD member posted a brief clip on Instagram of himself in the studio playing bass. He’s sitting at a mixing board with producer Nigel Godrich (who’s worked with Paul McCartney and Radiohead, among others) next to him.

You can listen to the snippet, which sounds like prime FLOYD, at this location.

Waters said last year that he’d begun recording his first set of new songs since 1992’s Amused to Death.

We’ve got some really good work in the can,” he told Rolling Stone in October. “We did some work in London and in Los Angeles.”
