CRADLE OF FILTH will unleash their 12th studio album, 'Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of Decay', this year! The new record is set for a Sept. 22 release via Nuclear Blast.

The album is deeply infused with Victorian gothic horror and thus the title is a reflection of that,” explains vocalist Dani Filth. “’Cryptoriana’ implies the Victorian’s infatuation with the supernatural, the grave and the ghoulish. And the subtitle ‘The Seductiveness Of Decay’ further cements this attraction to death and the glittering lengthy process of self-annihilation.”

The new album was produced by frequent CRADLE OF FILTH collaborator Scott Atkins and the record’s artwork, photography and videography was handled by Artūrs Bērziņš, who is well known for his postmodern interpretations of classic myths. This has given him the name of “sacred monster of Latvian postmodernism.”

The first single from Cryptoriana will arrive July 5, the same day as album pre-orders will become available.
