MAROON 5’s 2019 Super Bowl halftime show yielded big sales gains, according to initial reports to Nielsen Music.

In total, the songs performed during the halftime spectacular (including guest turns by Travis Scott and OutKast’s Big Boi) combined to sell 25,000 downloads on Sunday, Feb. 3, the day of the big game. That marked a 434 percent increase from their combined sales a day earlier: 5,000.

Focusing on just the six MAROON 5 songs the band played, the gains are even more pronounced. Combined sales of 'Harder to Breathe,' 'This Love,' 'Girls Like You,' 'She Will Be Loved,' 'Sugar' and 'Moves Like Jagger' rose by 587 percent (climbing from nearly 3,000 sold on Feb. 2 to 18,000 sold on Feb. 3).

In total, MAROON 5’s entire catalog of songs - not just the six tracks the act performed on the halftime show - logged a 488 percent sales gain (up from 4,000 on Saturday to 24,000 on Sunday).

The sales gains were not isolated to MAROON 5 – as the group’s halftime guest stars, Travis Scott and OutKast’s Big Boi also saw large gains for the songs they performed.

Streaming information about the tracks in the halftime show spotlight will likely be available early this week.
