Dayton shooter was lead singer of pornogrind band

Connor Betts, the 24-year-old man who allegedly killed nine and injured 27 in a mass shooting in Ohio this past weekend (yes, The Acacia Strain hoodie-wearing maniac), was reportedly the vocalist of a pornogrind band.

Buzzfeed News reports that Betts was the lead singer of MЕNSTRUAL MUNCHIES, a three-person band that "performed regularly in the Midwest death metal scene" and played pornogrind, an offshoot of goregrind.

Though the group's Facebook page, which had roughly 1,700 likes, has since been deleted, but MЕNSTRUAL MUNCHIES apparently played at Summer Massacre 2 in Chicago on June 29. The image above was captured from YouTube and Betts is pictured at right.

Early this morning, a member of Neckbeard Deathcamp (Prosthetic Records) referred to Betts as "another dime a dozen Ohio grind dude who caped progressive politics while treating women like shit."
