One of the most heartbreaking stories of 2019 has been the suicide of PRODIGY vocalist Keith Flint. Despite the death of their iconic singer, THE PRODIGY will continue making music, as the heavy electronic act teased yesterday (Aug. 20) via Twitter.

THE PRODIGY had just announced their first U.S. tour in a decade, including a run on America’s thriving festival circuit. Just one month later, Flint was found dead in his Essex home at the age of 49.

The news is true, I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend. I’m shell shocked, fuckin angry, confused and heart broken ..... r.i.p brother,” Prodigy DJ Liam Howlett posted via Instagram.

Countless tributes to Flint were made following his death, including “Firestarter” live covers from SEPULTURA and PAPA ROACH. Thousands lined the streets of Essex during Flint’s funeral procession, but the musician’s memory will be carried on by THE PRODIGY.

THE PRODIGY posted on Twitter, “Back in the studio making noise .. brand new Prodigy tunes are gonna roll, boooom #theprodigy #weliveforthebeats #weliveforever #cantstoptherock”

There’s no further information on when we can expect a full return from THE PRODIGY, but fans can rest easy knowing there’s more to come.
