Lymphoma is a type of cancer that develops in a body’s lymphatic system and attacks its immune system cells. There are two types of lymphoma: Hodgkin’s lymphoma is considered one of the most treatable cancers, with more than 90% of patients surviving more than five years. Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is typically not diagnosed until it has reached a more advanced stage, but it’s still treatable and about 70% of diagnosed patients survive five years or more.
