Spielberg to Make BEE GEES Movie
27 October 2010Music-News.com reports that Steven Spielberg is talking with the Bee Gees, Barry and Robin Gibb, about filming the story of the group.
Robin Gibb also says that he has given permission for the original Bee Gees recordings to be used in the film, which will trace the group from their early days in Manchester, growing up in Australia and returning to London in the вЂ60s to become one of the biggest groups in pop music.
To date the Bee Gees have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. They broke up in 2003 after the sudden death of their brother Maurice, but Robin and Barry recently announced that they will be working together again for a series of concerts.
