FC Chernozem are in the Plovdiv region's "A" division and were supposed to flaunt their new home strip last Sunday, in a friendly against Zhitnica, which was unfortunately postponed due to extreme weather conditions.

Our boys hail from the picturesque village of Chernozemen, population 380. The village mayoress Tonya Hristova is a massive fan of Tangra Mega Rock radio. This, of course, means that the local football team have turned into instant favourites of our staff.

Thus our urban culture/sports/rock'n'roll talkshow 'Jitball' will from now on provide regular weekly updates on all things FC Chernozem, complete with match predictions and player profiles. Expect the unexpected!
