Vihar Tsontchev arrived in Sofia last night after a long overseas flight from Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Our friend was in high spirits, he had his guitar round one arm and his lovely Brazilian wife round the other. Insmouth's main songwriter did not hide how happy he was to be back home.

"I was contemplating this for the last five years" - Vihar told the waiting press, adding, "I can't wait to see the guys from the band, we're gonna get straight down to rehearsals for the show!"

Back in 2003, Vihar's departure signalled the end of Insmouth. The band has reunited to play at Tangra Mega Rock radio's 4th anniversary gig on 24th March at 'Universiada Hall', with Er Maluk and Odd Crew.

INSMOUTH – Bulgaria's most influential crossover band!

Before going on an indefinite hiatus in Autumn 2003, they enjoyed a triumphant five-year period, establishing themselves as proper legends on the underground scene.

Thus, we got two quite brilliant albums - ‘3D Freak Accelerator’ (1999) and 'Cross Over The Crossover’ (2002), as well as the ‘Lara-Croft’ EP (2000), with tracks like  ‘Shakalakamuthafaka’, ‘Despair’, ‘Sexulted’, ‘Freak’ becoming firm fan favourites. .
