The BBC are planning to close their famous Maida Vale Studios in West London, explaining it's "not suitable for the 21st-century digital age"...

Maida Vale was known mainly for being home to the late John Peel's classic radio sessions. Besides, some rock legends have recorded in the studio, a.o. Led Zeppelin, The Smiths, Blur, Nirvana, The Fall, Editors, Arcade Fire, The Kooks and The Coral.

The BBC are yet to announce whether the studio will be replaced or not.
